Picking branches

Sounds good Amanda, I would like to do the Things We Created branch. So I was thinking that I would find a more general website that discusses things created in Kalamazoo and then take some of those things - like guitars, and give them specific websites for them as well, but for my topic I will probably find more than just 2 "subbranch" websites to give them more options, as long as I can find them that is. Ill let you guys know what I find and then maybe have you look over the site to make sure it's kid friendly and safe - I'd be happy to do the same for you.

Lesson Plan Choice

Agreed! The lesson plan looks great. Also, Courtney I agree with the idea that one of us take a branch since there is three in our concept map. But i understand if we do sub-branches also since it'll be hard to find a website focused on 3-4 different subjects. Question: Is the websites we're finding based off of like, for example, hospitals in Kalamazoo? Or do I have it all wrong?

If we are doing the branches from our concept map, I will take "Dreams We have Shared." If anyone does not mind but I'm fine with any of them so let me know. Thank you :)

Week 3

It looks like we need to do some lesson plans this week - each of us does our own, we just have to make sure that no one does the same lessons. I really have no idea what I want to do yet, do you guys? If you do that will help me know what I can't do so that's still helpful right? lol Maybe I'm just overly tired today but I am in a total daze about what my lesson plan should be at all! I guess since we have 3 group members and 3 main branches we could each take a branch or one of the "sub-branches" so we cover more of the idea. Does that sound okay?
   And then we need to each find 3 websites that we want our kids to use for the project. We can't duplicate any of the websites so we need to be sure that we keep track of each others chosen sites. Maybe we should stick with the same branches that we use in our lesson plan to cover the whole idea again. Talk to you guys soon!

Concept Map

The concept map looks great! Good job! Are we using Inspiration instead of Kidspiration? I haven't downloaded it yet, so I want to make sure I download the right one. I totally agree with you, we need to figure out who is doing what. It'd probably be a good idea if someone was the "leader" of the group, would you guys be okay with that? I'd rather not be it, I like being told exactly what to do, haha. Just let me know what you're thinking!

Finished Concept Map

Alright guys, this is the completed Concept Map. I think maybe in the future we should clearly determine who is doing what and when it will be turned in, preferably at the beginning of the week. Because I did this one, I am not allowed to do the other one, because of the time period of the trial. The program is pretty easy to figure out though so hopefully whoever does the second part will be just fine. Talk to you both soon about the assignments for this week.
